How quickly can Intercell be installed?
Installation speed depends on the size of the space, but Intercell is designed for fast and straightforward installation. No drilling or demolition work is required. A standard office space can be fitted with the system in a short amount of time.
Is Intercell compatible with my existing floor?
Intercell can be installed on any levelled subfloor. The existing floor remains fully intact, as the system is secured using adhesive bonding or mega screws, without any drilling or demolition.
Which system height is suitable for my situation?
Intercell is available in multiple system heights ranging from 40 to 110mm. The appropriate height depends on the volume of cables and services you wish to route beneath the floor. Please contact us for tailored advice.
Can I also use Intercell for underfloor heating?
Yes, Intercell is extremely well suited for underfloor heating and central heating systems. Thanks to the removable floor panels, you always have quick access to the pipework for maintenance or repairs.
How sustainable is the Intercell system?
Intercell is composed of a minimum of 25% recycled steel (LEED-approved), and the steel base elements are 100% recyclable. Optionally, you can choose a fully carbon-neutral supply of the product via Cool Steel.
Can Intercell also be applied in a listed building?
Yes, Intercell is particularly well suited for listed buildings and renovation projects. The system is installed without drilling, ensuring the original floor remains completely intact.
